I was born in Moscow in 1964.
As all children, I liked drawing and painting and,
according to the opinion of adults, I “showed hopes” for art.
After school I entered the Art College,
after which I served in the Army in the North.
I still go there. I like traveling and do it.
But not by train or plane with hotels for nights.
I travel by car taking a tent and a guitar with me.
I stay in the wild for the night and there is a bonfire
and tea from the kettle.

 

 

 

 

In painting I profess impressionism.
But not because I think so,
it is simply because of some specialties of my character, of my temper.
That is why even when sketching I paint with a palette knife,
which, to my mind, fully reveals my temper
(very emotional, by the way).
The middle point of view is close to me,
I rarely do panoramic landscapes.
It is more interesting to me to show the beauty of the trunk of the old tree,
old fence and a puddle.
That is why, as I always say,
there always are themes for my landscapes in every yard.
